OOTD: Girly with a touch of lace :)

Normally I am really girly but I've never been super frilly girly dresser till now. I don't know but something about pale pinks, blues, yellows, etc. has been drawing me in lately. So when I bought this beautiful skirt off of a user on FatshionExchange; I was ecstatic. And when it came in two days ago, it fit like a gem. I have so so many outfit ideas to go with this skirt. *sigh* Oh the possibilities!!!!!

Wedding Location Searches

Ok So Me and Mr. Fiance have FINALLY agreed on one place we both would love to have our wedding at. This is quite a feat since he would rather us rush to the courthouse and just get it done with, while I am the big beautiful been wedding planning since I was 5 type of girl. The place looks to be beautiful. Here are some pics ( I do NOT own any Copyrights to these)

Pictures belong to http://www.thehilliardmansion.com/weddings.htm or at least that's where I pulled them from

It has an outdoor place for the ceremony and an indoor place for a reception. We have an appointment to go visit it next Saturday, near sunset when the wedding will be. As long as it's as pretty as the pictures make it appear to be, this may be it!!!!!!! I sure hope so :)

Good Golly I'm excited!!!!!!!

Payday Thursday

Okay, I have to admit. Sometimes payday is more of a curse then a blessing to me. I start to think about how much I can spend, and how much I must use for bills, and my mind just keeps trying to tell me I can stretch my bills a little and buy just this one dress or these shoes that are on sale... and with the money technically still in the bank it's hard to resist. Thank goodness for my awesome fiance. He's a great saver, and he has no problem telling me that i really don't need yet another LBD or another pair of red heels.

Speaking of thrifty...........

Jacket Top: American Rag via FatshionXchange

I apologize for the night image; the only second I had to get this picture taken was after going to a very long movie, that ended much later than I thought it would. I love this outfit and how uncharacteristically frilly it is. The tights and  jacket top are both lace.
^^A little bit of a closeup on the jacket^^

And what girl doesn't need a set of pearls??
Pearls: Gifted
Necklace with charms: Gifted

And also I added a bit of blonde and purple to my hair.
I love it :)

So that's a summary of my Terrific Thursday! How was your day today?

Let's Be Honest This Is My First REAL OOTD

Oh Boy Oh Boy! Thanks to my lack of embarrassment and an awesome work friend I got a real full picture of my Friday work outfit  :) Complete with the awkward stares from my co-workers, it was a defining moment at my job for sure. Lol.

This beautiful dress is the exact one I mentioned ordering a few posts back off of Eshakti. It is indeed very purple. But purple is my favorite color so I don't care :)

I don't know why I look so nervous...
Probably since this was taken in the break room at lunchtime,
So there was quite an audience.

Now this is more me lol.

E Pics Part 1

With 1 yr and a half left to plan, wedding plans have been abrewin in my mind. I am not a simple girl and this is not a simple wedding. :) I love the planning but trying to find a location is so frustrating!!!!! This weekend me and my fiance looked at places online to get a general idea. Emailing places often ends up with me fighting for them to tell me the price BEFORE I visit not after!!! THIS STUFF IS EXPENSIVE. Thank goodness my amazing parents are covering most if not all of the wedding. I love them :). Here's one of my engagement pics courtesy of Julie Paisley Photography who is Ahmazing.

This is my casual outfit:

Jacket: Old Navy
Shirt: Forever 21 +
Cage and bird necklace: Claire's
Pearl Necklace: Gifted

Formal outfit pics soon!

Sometimes It's Fate :)

Last Night I had an amazing fantabulous stroke of luck. I was going through my normal daily review of deals. ( I literally almost nightly go through my favorite clothing stores to look for the best deals) While scoping Eshakti I found this beautiful deep blue (It's labelled violet but the picture was blue. Honestly if it's violet I'll still be happy) pleated stretch poplin dress in MY size!!!! Discounted down to $30 with $8 shipping; the price was decent enough for me to consider getting it. This paycheck though, is unfortunately a little tight, so I started the checkout process, registered since I had never bought anything from there before (I've lusted but alas no buy), and chickened out. Well, I went to my mail, and what do I see? Eshakti had given me a $20 gift certificate just for registering!!!! At that point I literally let out a squeal of delight and quickly purchased said beautiful dress for $18 total (including shipping). I virtually got the dress for $10. To say I am on cloud nine would be an understatement. The dress is probably going to be a little long since I'm 5'3" and the dress is for 5"6 to 5'8 made for below the knee. But I'll tolerate that :)))

Ps. I would have a picture of it but right after I bought it the listing disappeared... Is this normal for overstock purchases??
